Big One Card update: Korean rules, Jokers & Quick match
Our most-played card game, One Card, just got a major update. Korean-style rules are now the default, and new records and missions give you more reasons to keep playing.
- Korean standard rules: 2 (+2), A (+3), Black Joker (+5) and Color Joker (+7) attacks, a same-suit 3 blocks a 2 attack, and K gives you one more turn
- House rules: toggle Jokers, 2 attacks, the K effect, 3 blocks, counters and starting hand (5/7 cards) to match your group (pick 'Classic' for the old rules)
- Better result screen: place, play time, biggest attack stack, win streaks and result sharing
- Three daily missions, achievements and win rates by difficulty
- Quick match: jump into an online room right away — if nobody joins within 20 seconds, empty seats fill with AI
- Games with friends now count toward your match records
New game: Neon Descent
Neon Descent, a free online game, is live. Play from the home page or find it in the games list.

Checkers beginner guide
Checkers is a classic board game on the dark squares of an 8×8 board: move diagonally, jump to capture, and try to clear the opponent’s pieces. The rules look simple, but forced captures and crowning mean one slip can start a long capturing sequence. This guide covers English draughts and Spanish damas as they work on Playfulo.

Neon Descent Guide
Neon Descent is a 3D downhill board racing arcade game set on a neon-lit mountain road. You only steer left and right, but the board doesn't follow the road on its own, so reading the track and choosing the right gear make a huge difference to your times. This guide covers the controls, how to handle bends, boost pads and combos, what changes across the six stages, and what to buy first with your neon credits.

Artillery aiming guide
In a turn-based artillery game, two sides take turns lobbing shells until one runs out of health. Every shot can look like a guess, but how you adjust angle and power and how you read the wind makes a huge difference to your hit rate. This guide explains the aiming principles using Playfulo's Cannon Duel as the example.

Chess Endgame Basics
In the endgame, every move carries more weight. A single tempo can turn a win into a draw or a draw into a loss. Yet endgames are also the most learnable part of chess: a handful of principles and a few exact positions cover a huge share of what you'll meet in real games. This guide covers king activity, opposition, the rule of the square, the Lucena and Philidor positions, when to trade down, and the draws every player should know.

Gomoku Opening Strategy
Gomoku games look like they are decided in the middle by a 4-3 fork or a run of fours, but those chances are usually created in the first handful of moves. This guide covers why the first stone goes in the center, what direct and indirect openings are, how White keeps the balance, how to build flexible shapes, when to spend tempo, how opening choices differ between freestyle and renju, and what to aim for in the first ten moves.
