One Card guide

What is this game?

Playfulo One Card is the popular Korean trump-card shedding game in your browser. No sign-up — play against 3 AI opponents in a 4-player match.

Match rank or suit to empty your hand. Special cards: 7 (choose suit), J (skip), Q (reverse), K (+2), A (+3), plus the One Card call and tap penalty.

Pick easy, normal, or hard. Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Basic rules

Deal 7 cards from a 52-card deck. Play a card that matches the top discard by rank or suit. First player to zero cards wins.

  • 7: choose the next required suit. J: skip the next player. Q: reverse direction.
  • K: +2 penalty (stack with another K). A: +3 penalty (stack with another A). Pass the penalty by playing the same rank or draw the total.
  • If you cannot play, draw one. You may play the drawn card immediately; otherwise your turn ends.
  • Press One Card when down to one card. If you forget, opponents can tap you within a short window and you draw 2.

Controls

  • Play a card matching the discard by suit or rank. Draw from the deck when no legal card is available.
  • After playing a 7, choose the next suit. J, Q, K, and A change attack or turn flow as shown in the game.
  • Declare One Card when one card remains or receive the declaration penalty.

Strategy tips

  • Reduce weak suits early, then steer the final turns toward the suit most common in your hand.
  • Attack cards become more valuable against a nearly empty hand, but first check whether the attack can be defended.
  • Keep a balance of ordinary cards and suit-changing effects so the final card does not become stranded.

Difficulty differences

Easy mostly chooses an immediately playable card. Normal manages suits and special cards. Hard considers opponent hand sizes and possible attack chains when ordering its plays.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Forgetting 7/J/Q/K/A effects wastes attack and defense timing.
  • Keeping only attack cards can leave you with no legal play.
  • Save skips/defense when the opponent is down to one card.
