What is this game?

Playfulo Solitaire is free Klondike (patience) in the browser. No sign-up — use one 52-card deck and build four suit piles from ace to king.

Choose draw 1 (casual) or draw 3 (classic Windows-style). Undo, hints, and auto-complete after every tableau card is face-up are included.

The seven columns scale so they are not clipped on desktop, tablet, or phone, in portrait or landscape. Drag cards to a pile or tap to select then tap a destination.

How to play

Build the seven tableau columns down in rank with alternating colors. Build the four foundations up in suit from ace to king.

  • Only a king may fill an empty tableau column. Move a face-up run as a group.
  • Tap the stock to turn 1 or 3 cards onto the waste. Only the top waste card is playable.
  • When the stock is empty, recycle the waste. There is no recycle limit.
  • A face-down card flips when it becomes the top of a column. Filling all four foundations to king wins.

Controls

  • Select a face-up card and then its destination, or double-click/tap an eligible card to send it to a foundation.
  • Build tableau columns downward in alternating colors. Only a king-led sequence can enter an empty column.
  • Tap the stock when blocked, and use Undo, Hint, or auto-finish to review the position.

Strategy tips

  • Do not move every low card to a foundation immediately; it may still be needed to rearrange the tableau.
  • Prioritize columns with more face-down cards, and create an empty column only when a useful king is ready.
  • In Draw 3, remember the stock cycle and how many passes are needed to reach a key card.

Difficulty differences

There is no AI setting. Draw 1 is the approachable mode because every stock card appears in order. Draw 3 restricts access by stock order and requires more planning.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Blocking king spaces stalls the whole tableau.
  • Don’t only flip the stock — time empty columns carefully.
  • Switch draw-1 / draw-3 modes when a deal feels stuck.
