What is this game?

Playfulo Blackjack is the classic card game against the dealer aiming for 21. No sign-up; practice with virtual chips.

Uses a 6-deck shoe with hit, stand, and double. Natural blackjack pays 3:2. Split is not offered in this casual version.

Difficulty: easy (dealer sometimes errs), normal (S17 — stand on all 17s), hard (H17 — hit soft 17). Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Basic rules

Get as close to 21 as possible without busting (22+). Beat the dealer to win; equal totals push.

  • Aces count as 1 or 11. J/Q/K are 10. Ace+10 on the first two cards is blackjack.
  • Hit draws a card, stand keeps your hand, double (first two cards only) doubles the bet then draws one card and stands.
  • On normal, the dealer hits 16 or less and stands on all 17s (S17). Hard uses H17 (hit soft 17).
  • Regular wins pay 1:1; blackjack pays 3:2. Chips are virtual only — no real-money gambling.

Controls

  • Choose a virtual-chip bet, receive the initial cards, then select Hit, Stand, or Double when available.
  • Hit takes another card. Stand keeps the total. Double adds one equal bet, deals exactly one card, and then stands.
  • A total above 21 busts immediately. Otherwise the hand is compared after the dealer finishes.

Strategy tips

  • Base the decision on both your total and the dealer's upcard; against a weak 4–6, avoid unnecessary hits.
  • An ace can count as 1 or 11, so a soft total has more room to draw than the same hard total.
  • Double when one card is likely to create a strong total, and never chase losses by rapidly increasing the next bet.

Difficulty differences

Dealer behavior changes with difficulty. Normal stands on soft 17 (S17), while Hard hits soft 17 (H17), making the dealer more aggressive. Virtual chips cannot be redeemed.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Always standing on 12–16 vs strong dealer upcards hurts expected value.
  • Missing double-down spots leaves value on the table.
  • After a losing streak, learn basic strategy before raising bets.
